Playgrounds   Playgrounds offer a wide range of opportunities for the development of motor and social skills in an outdoor setting by using a variety of specially design equipment. Playground administrators need areas to be safe and easy to tidy up after use.
	Decks & Platforms Elevated structures are versatile and give children great scope for adventurous and imaginative play whilst encouraging climbing and balancing.
	Hard Surface and Soft Fall Areas Regulations require special materials to be used in areas where children might fall, for example, a fall from a climbing frame. These soft fall areas can use special matting or bark mulch. In this view we see hard surface area using asphalt leading to both grass and a soft fall area using wet pour Burgess matting.
	Sandpits Sandpits need to be designed to suit the site. Multilevel sandpits add greater opportunity for imaginative play. Sandpit areas need to be low maintenance and also easily covered. Back to Top of This Page
